The Plumett ULTIMAZ DROP PUSHER is the 'ultimate' in placing flat and round drop cables quickly and efficiently in OSP environments. The ULTIMAZ attaches with ease to the drop duct and is powered by a standard cordless drill.The ULTIMAZ can be used for drop ducts ranging from 1/2" to 1-1/4" in diameter, and flat cable designs up to 10.1mm wide. While many drop cables in urban and suburban areas are placed by hand for short 'home runs' (typically 30 to 100 feet), many rural and commercial properties have a considerable setback distance; sometimes up to several hundred feet. The ULTIMAZ assures high productivity in placing today's optical fiber drop cables for many FTTx applications.
